  • The Village of Clemmons has an ordinance that you must pick up after your pet.

  • Motor driven vehicles (of any kind) are not allowed in the common areas.

  • We love your pets just as much as you do. However, there are increasing concerns from residents about pet waste not being picked up and pets who are not leashed or contained appropriately. Village of Clemmons Ordinances state:

    • § 90.05, B: “It is the responsibility of a dog's owner or custodian to clean up the dog's feces from any public or private property outside of the dog owner's own property limits. Such property includes, but is not limited to, parks, rights-of-way, paths, and public access areas.”

    • § 90.01: “Every person owning or having possession, charge, care, custody or control of any dog shall keep such dog exclusively upon his own premises; provided, however, that such dog may be off such premises if it is under the control of a person physically able to control it and restrained by leash, chain, rope or other means of adequate physical control.”

  • Given that our homes are in close proximity to one another, the Board reminds and ask you to be courteous and respectful of your neighbors. This includes the level of music/bass inside your car as you approach and leave your driveway, barking dogs who are out after 9:00 p.m. and before 8:00 a.m., and children who are enjoying outdoor play after 9:00 p.m. and before 8:00 a.m. If you have repeating concerns about noise, try a friendly chat with your neighbor. Sometimes people may not realize how noise is affecting others and are usually considerate once it has been brought to their attention.

  • Trees on properties need to be properly trimmed annually as to not hang over the sidewalk and becoming a safety hazard for residents walking or jogging/running through the neighborhood by way of the sidewalks.  As a courtesy to your neighbors in Springfield Village, the Board asks that you trim any trees on your property that obstruct the sidewalk appropriately. Under the General Provisions of the Village of Clemmons § 94.01 ENCROACHMENT OF STRUCTURES PROHIBITED. “It shall be unlawful for any person to erect… trees, shrubs, and the like, so as to encroach upon or obstruct any street, sidewalk, or public place or right-of-way within the village…”
